Breakfast- Breaking the fast

Did you know? People who eat breakfast are less likely to be overweight and to have high cholesterol. Perhaps you should think again about swapping your mid-morning samosa or farsan (dry snacks) for a bowl of whole-wheat biscuits and a glass of fruit juice? Weekend Health Retreat

Whether you work in a demanding corporate or own a taxing business or run the show at home or are a student groping in the dark.  We all have long days, stress, and errands that can get in the way of a healthy lifestyle. It's no surprise that we're facing increasing demands on our time —both at work and home. Our reflex is to work longer hours, skimp on sleep, forfeit our holidays/vacations, skip meals (or binge), and take other "shortcuts". But this approach comes at a high psychological and physiological cost to ourselves and our families/friends, and can lead to burnout. For most of us, it seems implausible to remove some time for ourselves- the “me time”. Some of us look at our vacations as a chance to hit the reset button to our lives while some others find it difficult to steal this time out for themselves. Weekend Health Retreat is an initiative for healing and reviving that is not-so-far-away-from-home.  It is a holistic program tailored especially to me...
